CHIPPING / SHREDDING / MILLING

CHIPPING / SHREDDING / MILLING

CHIPPING / SHREDDING / MILLING of wood waste are technological processes of wood waste processing. The machines are divided according to output, type of processed material, requirement of chip quality or space requirements.

The basic difference in processing of wood waste is the system of processing:

CHIPPERS
robust high performance machines with high output capacities

SHREDDERS
slow-speed machines with low noise level used mainly in small or middle sized wood industry businesses

MILLS
high performance machines with a different capacities influenced by type of wood, size of input wood chips and humidity of the input wood chips

CHIPPING
produces high quality wood chips which is used for further processing in the paper or wood industry

SHREDDING
produces wood chips suitable for burning and / or production of briquettes. The wood chips are suitable for transportation by Screw conveyors used for supply of heaters or boilers

MILLING
described as well as secondary processing is a processing of wood chips to sawdust suitable for pelleting or briquetting
